CCS Drive-By Parade

Dear Parents,

We are planning to have a special "Drive-by Parade” on Thursday, May 14 from  1:00pm to 2:00 pm. Our staff will be lining up along the school drop off route to say "Hi" and cheer on our students. We are asking that you take a few minutes to drive by with your child(ren) and allow us to celebrate with them, even if only through a car window at 6 feet away. Please wave and say hi but keep driving to keep the parade of cars moving. 

Since this is a school day, teachers have been asked to hold off/lighten the afternoon load so that you can take the time with your child(ren) to come and visit. I hope that these few minutes of connectedness will bring your children and our staff some joy :)  It is also a great way to kick off the Victoria Day long weekend; there will be no class on Friday, May 15 (Pro D day) and Monday, May 18 (Victoria Day).To help ease the traffic/congestion we are asking families with surnames ending A - N come between 1-1:30 ; families with surnames ending O - Z come between 1:30 - 2pm.
