Important Information
PLEASE ATTEND!! Safer Schools Together Social Media Evening on May 30 @ 6:30pm:
I cannot stress enough the importance of this evening for parents, particularly those in intermediate grades. If your child owns or has access to a personal electronic device or computer (which is almost every child) this night is for you! The information that you will gain will be invaluable in helping to understand what your child(ren) are susceptible to and what things they know, and most importantly in protecting them from the many dangers with social media and internet. Please prioritize this event! Unfortunately, I was unable to secure someone to do childcare this evening. Hopefully one parent in each family can attend to get the information.
Flowers for Mary:
May is the month of Mary, and as always we are inviting you to bring flowers to place at the feet of her statue in our entrance. Flowers from your garden are perfect- no need to buy flowers.
Grade 7 Confirmation:
Please pray for our Gr. 7 students who will be receiving Confirmation tomorrow at 1:30pm
Cambridge Uniforms:
Free shipping on orders over $250 (before tax) between now and June 15th. Back to school orders should be placed by June 15th to ensure that they are ready in time for next school year.
Crusader Summer Basketball Camp:
Please see here for information about the HC Crusader basketball camp happening July 1-5
Sky High Volleyball camp:

Mary’s Meals:

Parent Participation Update:
Families, only one week left to complete your parent participation hours! The requirement of 34 regular hours and 6 maintenance hours for a total of 40 hours are due by May 31, 2024.
Many volunteer tasks are available on the website. Most urgent would be the PEC election on May 25th & 26th. The Parish requires scrutineers to assist with the ballot process.
If you are unable to attend a volunteer shift, kindly remove yourself from the task with as much notice as possible. If there is more than 24 hours notice, the task can be reposted and hopefully a replacement can be found . If there is less than 24 hours notice, email the parent participation coordinator. Failure to report an absence will result in a no show fee of $25 per missed shift. Three no shows, and the family will be removed from the program and will have to pay out the remaining hours at the cost of $30 per missed regular hour and $60 per missed maintenance hour.
Ad hoc requests are tasks that you did not sign up for on the website or a task that took longer than expected. Please submit these within one month of completion for approval. Anything submitted beyond that date, and approval is at the discretion of the coordinator.
