National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Important Information
We will be having a number of different activities happening next week for Truth and Reconciliation Week, all of these being age appropriate opportunities for our students to learn more about residential schools as well as getting to know more about First Nations cultures.
Orange Shirt Day- Students are invited to take part in Orange Shirt day on Thursday. Orange shirt and uniform bottoms- NOT a full dress down day. Donations are being collected for the RCAV Truth and Reconciliation collection .
REMINDER- Friday Mass Day Lates- If you are late on Friday mornings, please take your child directly to the church where Mrs. Jangula will check your child in
ATHLETICS UPDATE
CCS Cross Country MeetOn Tuesday, Sept 27th (1pm-2:30pm) we will be cheering for our CCS Cross Country athletes in Grades 2-7 who have worked hard to prepare for a challenging race around our property. The event will begin with a welcome and opening prayer at 1pm. At 1:10pm the gr 2s will run then the 3s @ 1:20pm, 4s @ 1:35pm, 5s @ 1:50pm, 6s+7s @ 2:10pm. Sorry for the late notice. This is the first year we have arranged for this event so it has taken us some time planning and preparing for this great opportunity. Thank you for your understanding.
